I bought Medieval II Total War Kingdoms the other day and I want to install patch 1.5 but I'm not sure whether I should download UK (gold) patch or the EU one. I didn't buy the gold edition but the flag is a union flag so I'm not sure.

A free version of Winrar will unpack it and then run the setup.exe.

By unpack do you mean extract? Where do I extract it to?

Unpack = extract, yes. To your desktop seems like a good place.

Assuming Vista, Win7/8, disable the UAC?
