    The Ironbborn tried to take Crakehall, but they were soundly defeated. The West has been mobilized, and the raiders won't find such easy targets anymore.

    I think I may have to drop out of this hotseat, mostly due to lack of time. I have not worked on Fire and Blood in weeks, and I really should try and get bugs ironed out to release it (So I am free from commitments - and so I can start an awesome 0.8 hotseat)

    I chose this hotseat as it is only early days, and I have no real commitments to any alliances here. I have the strongest navy in the East, and all my starting forces, plus a decent economy.

    I will take my turn if nobody is interested in replacing me.

    Apperently it's St. Patrick's Day

    Quite the dick move you did Mudd, trying to ravage my lands, but now Darry is like a rat in a trap ^^ . I've built a fort 1 square from him, and then lured him from his ambush position, and then he got stuck in the sticky sand of my ZoC

    He has no movement points now, only to await Alesander whom is now besieging Stoksworth: Darklyn and his stack are doing their way towards the Riverlands, to butcher and destroy everythin

    We urge Arryn to help us in driving the infidels from the Riverlands, in the name of the seven. Gardener has also joined the war with a great army behind him, after the High Septon urged him to attack Mudd.

    We will drive you away from the Riverlands with steel and fire

    oh, and btw, Sunspear is besieged with 2 stacks . And took Antlers

    Why wouldn't it be? There is no rule of this, and it was you whom placed his stack in Ambush position

    It could be considered a bug/exploit for sure, it makes no sense in real-life terms, just like using 1 unit to siege a fort and prevent it from reinforcing an army.

    Yes even though it's not in the rules it doesn't feel right with me. It shouldn't be allowed to eat up the movement points of ambushing armies like that, luring them from ambush to reach them is less damaging but this can be very painful for the Mudd player. Replay I suppose to keep it fair a little

    His own damn fault for keeping him in ambush. Although I admit it's a bit unfair, it's not in the rules, and also I know a lot of times from past experiences (including against myself) that people used luring men from ambush position to their own advantage.

    I do not like it, should it be something everyone agrees is not fair it should be written in the rules so that it is under effect next time

    Please Jem, I urge you. Should you decide it is unfair anyway I'll replay . But I will need an extension

    I think the rules should be allowed to change as the hotseat moves forward, it makes no sense to play with a bad rule until the very end of that hotseat. Most countries do not have the same laws they did when the governments were first established do they? Give me a little bit of time and I'll decide what to do.

    The general rule about this stuff is that you need a force thats strength is around two thirds of the army in ambush/fort. I am sketchy on the details but sift through YBW and YKRH for examples.

    I don't think I'll allow it in any case, if anyone has complaints send them in PM so we don't fill up the thread. I'll grant uri a 10 hour extension (would be 12 but 2 hours passed already).

    Oh com'on..... I hate it when people rule on somethings who aren't in the rules......

    I could name 20 times when somone lured somone from his ambush position with a single unit Jem, all of these times it is allowed. Not to talk about all the times whole stacks were destroyed because of it. The admin should follow his rules, not rules he decides to add mid-game.

    I'm mad, but I'll suck it up. Don't do it again though

    What if I'll lure him from his ambush position with 6 units?

    I think it should only be allowed if you attack and defeat his army (After luring). If you just build a fort to block his movement points, that is cheap and a bug in my opinion.
