    If this is correct then the fort does in fact change the game play quite a lot and the turn should really be redone if possible.

    I hate to say so, but I don't agree. The fort itself is not illegal, it is just (slightly) undermanned by Mudd's forces.

    Mudd has placed his forces having mistakenly thought that they were safe. It's only turn two, and mistakes happen.

    Removing the fort would be a HUGE punishment for Mudd, and would greatly benefit Storm.

    Forcing a replay would slow the hotseat down, and would not benefit the Stormking either, as Mudd would just place the fort in the same place.

    Mudd has potentially saved a few hundred Dragons in upkeep, but it is not gamebreaking.

    If the Stormking was ATTACKING the forts, it would make sense to force Storm to move up 1 extra infantry unit to be slaughtered (If one wanted to be pedantic) but as far as I can guess, Storm has not attacked.

    A financial punishment makes the most sense, IMHO... Unless Storm attacked the forts.


    Oh, and I am not Mudd's ally, not am I Storm's ally or enemy. I don't particularly care for their little war in the South - as long as nobody comes too close to my mountains

    Can you test the save Mudd? It crashed me after 20 seconds of opening, and now I can't open the save at all. Crashes during loading. Previous saves were working fine.

    Are you 100% sure you are using the patch?

    I had issues where the game CTDed when saving/loading previously...

    You can load unpatched saved with the patched version but not construct any units! At least i could not =/

    New save sent, 12 hour extension for the player - fined 2000 for having built 2 forts with 3 units not just 1.

    At least the fine would hurt the Mudd economy, which I already know is horrificly crippled

    2k? That seems a little steep for a fort that does not affect gameplay directly.

    Not arguing, just means that everyone should be watching where they place a fort.

    2 fortS, some hotseats fine 1500 so that'd make it 3000 - it does affect the gameplay a little bit too, they weren't random forts in the middle of nowhere

    But the biggest fine of them all is my disappointment in the Mudd player

    Hey look at it on the bright side, every time someone breaks a rule I'll share an awesome song with you guys, but for some reason Youtube plugin won't work

    I don't think Storm could reach it, he was missing it by 1 tile (checked it myself), and even if he would manage to reach it somehow there is no reason to destroy Mudd's hopes of survival just for missing 1 unit, he clearly has more units available to put 4 in each fort but wasn't aware of the rule. I believe we would also have to replay all the turns and it's only turn 2. Oh well we are filling up the thread, can this end here?

    Well if it had no effect whatsoever other than he saved around 100 coins in upkeep then just tell him to move a fourth unit and charge him the upkeep.

    EDIT: BTW, when I opened the original save, I had 2 diplomatic screens (beneficial e.g. trade rights), however, the new save did not have any diplomat messages.

    I'll grant him an extension as he told me the reason in private, but don't be late since you're in the middle of an important war.

    Martell is missing until Saturday apparently. I had to sub since I couldn't find a non-admin guy who wanted to sub No significant moves made, just recruitment and moving around of armies.

    Convert them to JPEG pictures
    Also, really, there is absoloutly nothing Bolton can do about Bartowtown. All he can do is delay you for one turn by forting you off- but that is just wasting money
