It would be damn glorious indeed if you do so
But the problem with that is that it only works when you are hotseating, but if it is when you are playing on the battlefield it is insanely huge scale
Also this would dwarf the population in the cities, if you have like 2 stack (what, like 40,000 men?) that dwarfs the population of KL, only 20,000 men![]()
100 men per unit on medium is the biggest possible. Hardcoded limit.

Many thanks to the good folks down at the Graphics Workshop for the sig.

House Arryn up!
Will play when I get home
For future reference, I would prefer notifications sent as VMs rather than PMs, if possible
Why? Because that way I have an easy list of turns that I need to play
Unlike a certain player in a certain hotseat, I won't 'block' people or anything like that, just personal pref, as if I see a VM 9 times out of ten it is a turn notification.
Also, as an admin of other hotseats, by people sending VMs rather than PMs I can tell if a person was notified or not - and this way I won't be skipped without it being obvious I was notified
Stand by for my declaration.
Taking my turn now.
I would like to suggest a simplification of the fort rules - Rather than saying the fort has to be manned by four units, which have to be at >1/4 strength, we could have a minimum limit on the actual number of men in the fort.
So rather than 4 units above >1/4 strength, the minimum could be 300 men (Or more, whatever we agree on)
GB and/or Cavalry units could count as double
Feel free to shoot it down - it is a rule I am using in one of my own hotseats and it works well.
Seems OK, but I don't see how it is more simple.......
You have to add up the units, instead of just checking you don't place less then 30 men units in the fort
I don't think that adding so many rules during the game is good btw, we probably should just add that rule to the constitution thread if enough people like it![]()
The benefit is that 4 units of 30 men = 120 men
4 Spear units at full strength = 600 men
The cost of supporting 600 men is vastly greater than the cost of supporting 120
I don't like keeping useless units of 30 men around. The alteration means that forts would be as defended, without forcing the player to commit almost a quarter stack to defend a fort, wheras others only have 1 unit's worth in the fort.
That is correct, but the thing is that you can't decide to split a unit ^^ . Only if a unit is damaged in battle then you can place it in a fort with the low cost of upkeep
This is a rule I took which is used in all hotseats (in which you can even place 4 units if 1 men in forts) and I only added a small limitation to it to avoid less then 30 men units hanging around ^^
I have not changed that rule much. What you suggest is a different way of stopping 1 men units from protecting forts, one that I fine just as good as the original. All in all, the upkeep of four units isn't that great
so that doesn't really matter
I urge you guys to post all off these real good rule additions in the rules thread, this is clugging up this thread and this is really not where it is supposed to be![]()
Yes don't make me mad you don't wanna see me mad bro.

Storm up
Turn 1 and already 2 fort rule breaches. No fine necessary, as I feel a warning will suffice, since I can't reach either of the forts this turn anyways

If there is anybody who wants to play Mudd go ahead and replace me.. I can't promise to take the turns in time and I'm afraid I'm gonna hurry up too much with all these (new) hotseats. Mudd deserves a player who wants to spend some time on the turns.
