    HI

Is there some new units for the 1.6 for beastmen. I have seen on the sub forum some new units like chaman?!

Beastmen are already very good and have a decent enough amount of units to pester us with, the beastment can field Boar drawn chariots but if the Beasties get them then Orcs should to! and the elf factions, chariots would be a great addition to battles!

Beastmen should get javelins and archers. Maybe centaurs.

Centaurs yes but the Beastman army list in the Games Workshop version of the game had absolutely no missile troops in it, Shamans, Chariots, Centaur light cavalry all should make an appearance though.

these are the ones i'm taking about.all in all,the beasts need some new units BADLY,if they are to become playable.a ranged unit is a must have, centigors too and adding pumbagors and a chariot would also help.

I highly doubt they become playable. But it's just a hunch, not a fact or anything. I like them the way they are now, they are good for leveling up your units, also is a lot of fun to blown them into pieces with my Nuln great cannons and handgunners.

If Beastmen got more unit options at all it would require a serious change to the Empire Nations and their starting units, and other things.

If Beastmen were to be playable I'd imagine on turn two, as a Player it would be much easier to script in Units for them, compared to making them overall having new units as AI.

I think that Beastmen are good as a Non-playable faction, Im playing a Hotseat as 4 different Empire factions with some friends and killing Beastmen is like cleanup - Pest control.

Anyway playing as them would be horrible as a start, attacked on all sides no hope of victory.

The scripts keep them interesting and more troublesome than a simple pest control. I made them playable in my mod for test reasons and I have to tell you, playing with them is almost as funny as blowing them up. There are certain stuff that would need to be cleaned up if they are going to be made playable but it's a lot of fun and challenge to play with a faction so fragmented, hated by everyone and surrounded everywhere. You have to treat every town as it's own little empire and the limited building rooster makes things a bit too much hard.

In any case, I feel that by default or starters the Skaven won't be playable in the campaign either. To simulate the under-empire thingy would take a lot of scripting which is fine for the AI, but when a player takes the hold certain things could lose their "magic". As for example the Skaven AI "sending armies on their tunnels" and showing up in your gates, while the player controlled Skaven won't, unless the team make really good and innovative scripts, I guess it could be possible but I don't know. Let's wait and see.

I suppose after a while you would be able to carve out your own small beasty empire for yourself, i shouldnt of put down playing beastmen as recently i moved night goblins to playable and i greatly enjoy the challenge that comes with them.

For skaven it would be a lot harder to do due to all their settlements being in their "under empire" Skavenblight way off in Tilea is one of their only above ground cities and unless the new update includes a large new portion of the map. But i can see the fun in fighting a couple of random spawns that come out of the Marshes or Mountains. For now anyway
