Dell battery recall
Dell has recalled aprox 4 million laptop batteries made by SONY.

According to the reports, there were 6 (six) instances of these batteries bursting into flames.
How does this happen? Why recall 4 million units when just 6 had any problem?

Well if 6 burst into flames, there could be a design flaw, or a production fault.
Bottom line is that Dell would be liable so they have to recall.

The battery short circuits, which causes huge bubbles of hydrogen to form.
It then releases a HUGE spark that ignites it and bang. Explosion.
