    Default Crashing on Bootcamp

I have a 2012 Macbook Pro, Intel HD4000, running the game on Windows 7 bootcamp. Works fine, can run it on medium/high graphics settings. No lag. I've been playing single player campaign.

In random points of the game it crashes and I'm sent to the desktop with the message: "Shogun 2 has stopped working". Once it happened after ordering troop movements across the map, the other time when I was in deployment stage on the battlefield. Its random.

Is there a fix for this?? I've looked around online for an answer but none relate to my situation, or if they do, I don't understand what they're saying haha. If you could dumb-down any tech-speak that'd be really good.

    Thanks!

The is not going to change the url count for this so we're stuck until your fifth post.
You can beat it up you have to be careful how you word it.

What you are doing is basically running out of memory. I don't know how much the Macbook has but the graphics chip is robbing from it for the the game or any other application.

    1. Activate your copy of Win 7 if not done so, and manually run Windows Update installing all software options starting with Service Pack 1 if not installed.
    2.
    Code:
Here is a Windows 7 and Vista StackHash and Appcrash Fix

    1. Open your Start menu and then Control Panel

    2. Browse to System Maintenance go to System

    3. Select Advanced System Settings from the links on the screen.

    4. On the System Properties screen, click the Settings
button from the Performance section at the top of the screen.

    5. Click the Data Execution Prevention tab.

    6. Select the option Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select

    7. Browse to locate the executable file for the application you were trying to start when you received the StackHash or APPCRASH error. In Windows 7 and Vista, you can locate your GroupMail executable files (i.e. GMMailer.exe and GMEdit.exe are the ones you’re looking for) in C:\Program Files\GroupMail 5

    8. Select the application related to the Appcrash or StackHash error and click Open to add it to your DEP Exceptions list.

    9. Click Apply or OK to save your changes
    may help in your case.
    3. Still have trouble, post your dxdiag.
