It does both, to an amazingly brilliant extent. :happy0144
Well that's annoying because I want to be the one who chooses my unit formations.Originally Posted by Vanquisher
You can chose your uniy formations, it just redies them in one it thinks best.
What do you mean by unit formations, like manipular? Or by the stance or spacing of an individual unit?
You still have the same number of group formations, but they have just been edited to work better for each faction, or to suit the battle or types of units you have.

What I mean is that I would like to select a number of units and draw them out into a single line. I don't want the game to interfere with this.
In the Vanilla version, there is a "column" formation. Group your units then click the "column" button in the formations menu. :spammer:Originally Posted by Augustus In Command

Neither is this the dawn from the east, nor is a dragon flying above, nor are the gables of this hall aflame. Nay, mortal enemies approach in ready armour. Ravens are calling, wolves are howling, spear clashes and shield answers
if your talkin bout just selecting them and then dragging them out urself and not using group formations, then no this mod does not interfere with thatOriginally Posted by Augustus In Command
it just starts out as what it thinks best, you can change it to anyway you like :happy0144

One last thing: I assume that version 8.0 installs over RTW version 1.5?
You are correctOriginally Posted by Augustus In Command
Darth mod revolves around the formations I am afraid, although you could re-include Vanilla formations it just wouldn't be the same.

Have a look at this thread to see the formations that are available on Darth Mod, I'm sure you'll like them. Beleive me, it makes the game a heck of a lot easier to manipulate and more fun to play.

My question goes into quite another direction, but I´d like to have it answerd as well before I start dl´ing the whole mod (I´m using the formation pack already for my vanilla game and Chivalry - a great improvement!): Does the Darthmod make use of the modswitcher (-mod:mymod) ability of RTW? My harddrive is getting rather cramped, so instead of occupying another two GB´s I´d rather make use of this very handy ability that patch 1.3 brought about, so I don´t need quite that much space.
Life is a sequence of missed opportunities
At the Minute DarthMod 8.0 does not include and will not work with -mod:my mod, possibly full 8.1 DM with have itOriginally Posted by Ciaran S
