Rally Point 10 - In English and German

Hey all,

Rally Point 10 is now up on Youtube and with it comes a ton of new info with some never before seen (or heard) parts of Total War: ROME II.

And basically that's all I can say on the matter in German without embarassing myself excessively

Great music. If possible for the next episode, could you get with some detail on the more subtle points of Rome 2? I mean, in the march edition of PC gamer it was talked about Line of Sight... Or for example the politics in Rome 2 and how they will affect gameplay, will there be elections, etc.

P.S. Have you thought about releasing music from the game as a separate digital download? I mean, it probably won't cost a lot to set up and probably quite a few players will want to have it, especially if it includes some bonus tracks

Is the 2nd screenshot with the Germans stalking the Romans actual gameplay footage? To rephrase, is this how camouflaged or "hidden" units will be seen in-game? If so, this is way cooler than the old animation of units simply kneeling when hidden.

Maybe it's from some cut-scene like the ones in the Carthage siege.

Seems like there is also Lorica Hamata and Lorica Segmentata in the same units. Huzzah!

Well, the german subtitles were very helpful, to understand, what he was trying to say
I am sure, he will become better and better with every episode. That was pretty good for the first attempt.


Looking to the content, I am very impressed and a bit surprised, that 9 AD is still part of the intended time-frame.

He spoke in german because the Germans are the next playable faction.

Probably why they spoke Greek for the Macedonian faction intro and French for the Gallic faction.

Macedonians didnt speak modern greek. And French definitely wasnt spoken by the Gauls who are not Germanic nor Latin. Duh.

The spearmen are Auxilia, a very common sight in Roman legions. And if you look closely, you'll see that the Romans are wearing various helmets, which is cool.

It's glowing since it's the player's objective to capture them.
