Let me put it this way then, since it doesnt really effect the game at all, I'm making it a free for all, if anyone wants to get creative and put one up, then friday is the day and go right ahead, I'll make sure a lame one is up from now on though if no one else does

Well I am in a creative mood. Can I make a thread that highlights the events of the year and maybe just a few random events in the world ?. Just to make things interesting, And they wont be Historical events, They just be a random event that happens in the world. Like a nation declares war on another over a small piece of land. Yes I been playing Ck2 a lot lately,... That game is so good to play I cant stop its like Game of thrones but Medevil

So can I ?

It does affect the game and ideally needs to be run exclusively by the mods due to the age rolls. The yearly updates need to happen every Friday so that nobody can plead ignorance when it comes to their character dying of old age. In fact, rather than a new thread every week you guys should make a closed thread called "Weekly Events" or something where you post these updates and any needed rolls.

Age rolls are the only thing, and happens so very rarely that seriously it isnt a massive concern and will probably never become one. Even when/if an age roll death occurs the player is given free time to end the story how they want anyway, its never been an instant thing, so pleading ignorance wouldn't happen/work anyway.

I check the rego threads and I've got everything recorded, but seriously in my opinion the age rolls happen far to rarely for it to ever be a issue, must less a problem. They happen so rarely theres almost no point to the rule at all lol.

Yeah I don't think it's major, but it's still better if we do it regularly and on a set day. Though it brings up a question. We always had one week is a year for various reasons. Mostly becauseof the money. But I'd everyone still happy with that?
