I need some help with a little problem!

Hello!
I'm nt sure this should go here, but I havent found a better place. I'll tell you my problem that I desperately looking for solution for almost four days : I had something left this game, but on the weekend I came up playing again and I thought about changing the age of the characters. I thought "well, this is easy,just have to modify the descr_strat" (I swear that I had done this before) BUT, when I changed the age and I come back to the game as normal, start a new campaign, select faction and ...nothing else happens, return to the start menu ._.

In order to play I had to put the copy I had of descr_strat but I want to change the age of my characters . I dnt try to put disparate ages and broke the cycle between parents and children, so i need some

I use win 7, and i have the game unpacked.
