Would it be possible to make this compatible with RR when you've done reskinning? The units look great, but i can barely play mods without some form of RR now, the reforms in EB and the events in SS really put them on a level above for me.

OK, I'm new to this and I'm confused about this whole RC/RR thing. At the bottom of the SS FAQ it mentions that RC and RR are both installed by default with SS (not where else do I see any reference to what if any mods are folded into SS). When opening my install of SS 6.4 there is no mention of either RC or RR in the options check-box, so I ASSUME both RC and RR are active....? But you tell us that RR must not be active to run your mod. How do I disable RR?Q:Is it possible to play this with Real Recruitment? You open up SS_Setup in your SS6.6/4 folder and click disable RR.
I have Stainless Steel 6.4 + Meneth's Sub-mod Compilation (MSC) 6.0 installed. They seem to be running correctly.
However, when I run SS_setup there is no box choice to click to disable RR. Please advise what I'm doing wrong.
UPDATE
Thinking about your answer Hazzard, I realized the problem might be the MSC, so I did a M2TW + SS6.4 ONLY install and Poof! there is 'disable RR'

This is excellent! Combines 2 of my favorite mods. ERE and muslims still don't really stand up against western knights but that is a problem with SS in general. (where plate armor is always vastly superior to lamellar. who conquered who again?)
Late plate was clearly superior to lamellar but lamellar was available quite a bit earlier which is why so many complaints about Scholari- they are wearing heavy lamellar which western armor won't match in a campaign for 100s of turns. Most other eastern unit elites have access to lamellar or chain and higher heat resistance so fighting in deserts/sand there is noticeably less fatigue but if attacking in other terrains not as much benefit. The main problem is SS has nearly all knights having hardy or very hardy traits which make the heat fatigue even in deserts not as noticeable as it could be and particularly for mounted knights they are extra devastating as they can charge and charge again the entire battle and just be starting to get exhausted at the end. It should be after 2-3 charges they are exhausted and have to rest or risk getting stuck in melee unfavorably.
The transition period between partial plate and full plate is difficult to represent in just stats that MTW2 offers. Also mail is probably a but under whelming in defense as currently represented where it only offers 1/3 protection vs plate. RC 2.0 which Point Blank has released does it better but SS uses RC 1.4 I think which is quite older version with inferior stat balancing.

Can i play the early campaign at all with this mod? I want to play as the ERE, but don't feel like playing that difficult of a campaign.
I like this submod. The St.Jones knights with spears are devastating for cavalry. which faction are you planing to re-work. King?

I have just installed the mod (great work), but i´m having problems with the textures of some ottoman units that are wrong.The turkish archers and the turkish horse archers, units that are now completely covered in some silver texture (they look like ironman) i wonder if there is anyone here that can help to fix this problem??.

Keeps crashing. I have reinstalled this multiple times. Battles don't work. I think their are some serious issues with this, because here is my system log after it crashed, and I haven't edited anything. Also, previous times when it's crashed other issues came out in the system log, and on another time I installed and reinstalled it, it would just crash during battles, and the system log would not give any information other than that it crashed. And when I say uninstall and reinstall, I mean I completely uninstalled SS, then reinstalled it fully according to the instructions given, all the way through the Steel Crescent submod.
