Default The Assassination of Daevon Baratheon, and Natural death of Auron.

One sultry day in the Stormlands, Daevon Baratheon was drinking much more than his share of ale. Alone and unguarded as he was trying to escape his duty. So much so, that he had been on the nerves of many of the patrons. Three men walked into the bar a few minutes earlier had become fed up with his antics and confronted him. A powerful and good fighter in his own right, the ale had slowed his wits and reflexes.

And that's when I said, I'm your better you imbecile show respect! Daevon said laughing incredibly.
Shut yer mouf nitwit. one of the men said.
Really? Why in all the gods names should I do that? Do you know who I am Daevon said offended attempting to get up
One of the maids at the bar whisperedHe is Lord Baratheons son, best be careful.
At that the men looked at each other and laughed. They looked back at Daevon and attacked him. Stabbing him to death.

When the deed was done, the men go to pick up their payment. There, Harvin Baratheon waited for them. He paid them each, and sent them on their way back to Essos. A journey he ensured they would never complete.

Finally, an envoy came to Storms End, bearing the body of Daevon. When Auron saw his youngest sons body, something inside him broke. The world got smaller around him, his chest tighter. He began to weep, why should he care who seen him, he could not see them. Before the darkness closed in front of his eyes, all he could see was his dear boys body.
