Can't find M2TW

I had a look at the Third Age mod and it looks amazing. Unfortunately my Medieval 2 CD is quite scratched , and my laptop can't read it anymore. Therefore I can't install Medieval 2 and can't play the Third Age. Moreover I can't find Medieval 2 in any shop anymore. Have you got any suggestion of how to acquire Medeival 2?

Steam has it.

Amazon also has disc and digital download.

Amazon Kingdoms 1.5 patch is nonexistent unless you live in the Americas and still no bets.

If you live in Europe you can go to a friend and use his cd. It is legal as you already purchased a copy and own the right to use it.
This contract you "signed" by installing it the first time is illegal in EU and you can ignore it completly!

If you live in the US you have to buy a new version...
I think the US laws go so far the mods have to delete my post... but I am not 100% sure about that.

I am sure there are other possibilities to help you to use your right to play a game you purchased... but as the server is in the US I cannot even talk about them...

Just double cecking: Medieval 2 Gold Edition is required. In Steam I can only find Medieval 2 Total war Collection. But this shouldn't make any difference right?
