What happens if you ban weapons and if you don't?

I'm guessing thats a dillema. One of the options probably increases (temporarily) public order and the other one decreases it. I recall this one, but cant quite remember the consequences.

I've had this one twice. Both times I chose to ban weapons and had different effects.
1. Angry Populace.
2. Population decides the best response to a ban on weapons is to join the Army. ^_^ (Think that was an extra recruitment slot for a few turns.)

But as others have said, half the fun of these dilemmas is not knowing what will happen.

Yesterday when playing I got a warning from some god and I could chose to pay tribute or to ignore the omen. I ignored it and a few turns later an earthquake hit my home province.
