Thread: Player's Code of Conduct

  1. #1

    Default Player's Code of Conduct

These guidelines were agreed upon by the shed team

Code of Conduct The following guidelines will govern the conduct of RPG players:

    1. Players in dispute will submit themselves to the judgment of game moderators who will handle all disputes in game.

    2. If a game moderator is part of the dispute and there are no unbiased game moderators to make a ruling, the dispute will be arbitrated by the shed team.

    3. All of TWC's terms of use apply to every game.

    4. Game disruption will not be tolerated and is defined as any behavior which obstructs the legitimate progress of a game.

    5. There will be no power gaming. Power gaming is defined as claiming certain aspects as earned or given when they have not been earned or given in accordance to game rules.

    6. There will be no metagaming. Metagaming is defined as using information received out of character to influence actions when playing the game.

Discipline Discipline follows a system of increased penalties for repeated bad behavior. Requests from game moderators for forum bans for unruly players will be honored 99% of the time, but given the nature of RPG play which is to be involved in more than one, an overarching disciplinary system will be utilized to track consistently poor behavior. Any time a game moderator requests a forumban for a specific length of time, a strike will be added. Strikes will also be added any time the terms of service are broken within the CRPG forum.

1 strike: Punishment decided by game moderators/site moderation

2 strikes: mandatory three day forumban

3 strikes: mandatory one week forumban

3+ strikes: lengthy forumban up to a permanent forumban
