First, welcome to the forums!
Well, how would someone create an unit like that? What do you mean by "create an unite"?
They don't need to make a completely new unit but just make one of the existing units from the holy roman empire to look like this and the helmet they could take for an example from the Dismounted Imperial Knights if possible.![]()
I think they would certainly look cool. Wouldn't you have better luck in the mod forums?
You can ask in the mod section, but i doubt there will be anyone willing to do it for you, as most modders are parts of modding teams or are making their own submods.
You could learn it yourself if you really want it and want it done properly.
As UndrState and Baltic Warrior said, you should look up the modding forums and ask there.
I think you should be able to take some Longbowman unit and just add the "skin" of Dismounted Gothic Knights (they´re not available in the main campaign of the game, but they are in custom battles, and they have the helmets you want) to it, and some professional modders should be able to guide you through it![]()

That actually looks a bit like Frances "Scots Guard" archers.
Please rep me for my posts, not for the fact that i have a Pony as an Avatar.
Has some resemblance to Venetian archers too. I think, though, that the actual picture from Dictionnaire raisonné du mobilier français de l'époque carlovingienne a la renaissance is supposed to represent a French mounted archer from the reign of Charles VII? (Hence the spurs.)
