Default Shogun 2 crashing Display Driver

Recently Shogun 2 has been causing my display driver to crash. I can launch the game, change settings and such, but if I don't start a campaign and stay in the menus it will crash. Sometimes very soon.

Attached to this post is a log file EVGA Precision X created and a DXDiag report.

    Thank you for your time.

As per our last round at this and what LestaT linked to, have you tried it with EVGA Precision disabled?

It would not surprise me at all for Shogun2 if it plays without it running even in the background.

EVGA Precision doesn't run at all. All it does is set the power usage and fan speeds of your EVGA video card, and once you customize the settings to your liking you can exit the program. The settings will still work even without it running. But despite all that I disabled it's Automatic Fan Control, I also exited Speedfan, which was controlling my CPU fan, and display driver crashed almost instantly when the main menu popped up.

I should note: My drivers are up to date and not Beta.

    Here
    Code:
    03, 05-02-2013 09:26:15, 3 ,°C ,0.000 ,100.000 ,10
    03, 05-02-2013 09:26:15, 4 ,% ,0.000 ,100.000 ,10
looks like where the game crashed. A second later, back to "normal operation".

Are you sure it's not the card getting too hot, then?

Is this using the game's "default" settings?

It crashed here at 9:31, then started logging again at 9:35 when I started my computer back up(Most of the time when it crashes it doesn't recover).

I'm sure it's not getting too hot, it says that it was 63 before it crashed which is a perfectly normal temp. I've played at worse without any crashes.

I have no idea what the game defaults are, there doesn't seem to be a "Default Settings" button in the graphics menu. I did try to bump them down to see if it would make a difference, I set them to Medium from Ultra but still crashed. It doesn't make any sense, my hardware should be good enough to run this game. :\

It is good enough to play the game.

What are the voltages at that time? About the only thing left is power supply or malware.

    1.175 were the voltages.

I set the game to DirectX9 and the problem is gone. Doesn't make any sense what so ever but at least I can enjoy taking over Japan. Thank you for your help.

    Dx9 beats nothing. Enjoy playing.
