I'm trying to get rid of the unit banners and green arrows but I can't find preferences.txt - I have Barbarian Invasion 1.6 installed, does someone know?

Its in C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\bi\preferences folder.
Thanks.
And that is the preferences for RTW too or should the RTW preferences be in the main directory?

Its in the main directory. Your welcome![]()
Well that may be the cause of my CTD when I go to play RTW, there is no preferences.txt in my main directory.
Anyone know where I can download one or is it more likely that if that file is gone a bunch of others are too and my install is screwed?

If there is no preferences.txt file, one will be generated when you launch the game. The CTD must have some other cause.Originally Posted by Scorch40
I just started RTW without any according preferences in any directory and I didn't crash. Your CTD must result from a different thing.

If you have Bi installed the RTw preferences.txt is in Rome - Total War\preferences, and Rome - Total War\bi\preferences for BI.
