Failed to initialise 3D audio
Tried to get this game to install and got to the point where pressing launch on the launcher gives me this.
I have a windows 7 64 bit
Steam user
Using the Rome Gold Edition and Rome.exe
Everything is the correct spot, except it seems i'm missing a miles folder? Would that be causing the issue? When I try reinstalling the game, i still don't get it. Rome works fine btw.

Re: Failed to initialise 3D audio
As you guess that is the Miles folder (which contains 6 files) that is causing the problem. Also the mss32.dll file should be in the game folder (where the exes are).
As these are all folders and files that come with vanilla R:TW and are not modified in any way so we can't upload them (as it would voilate the TWC ToS).
I'm not sure what you mean by 'Rome works fine' at the end. I'd presume that once you hit this error then you won't be able to play the gsme (even by by-passing the launcher).

Re: Failed to initialise 3D audio
I meant vanilla rome works fine. Anyways i searched and found the miles folder and placed it and it starts up and crashes. I think if i reinstalled i may get it to work though, ill report later in the day.
