Church of St Blaise in Enscomb
Built 670 A.D.
One of the Anglo-Saxon churches in County Durham, Enscomb Church has been able to attract a large parish following due to the attractiveness to both sides of society. Made up of stone as old as Rome, and manned by a youthful Norman priest, it certainly seems unique. All are welcome at Enscomb Church, and donations taken for prayers. The Church is famous around the local area for offering bread and water to any passing by, called the Wayfarer's Dole.
