Tancred de Lanquetot
Heritage: Norman-Frankish
Age: 28
Tancred de Lanquetot is the son of the late Sir Richard de Lanquetot, a Knight whose family has ancestral roots from a coastal town in Normandy. Due to the status of his father, Tancred was given a good education in Latin, Literature, Swordsmanship, Religion and Command. After some time, the young man was sent to Monastery, due to an outbreak of sickness that took the life of his father and younger brother. His education was continued under his Uncle, a lesser noble of England. Upon reaching the age of 18, Thomas would remove himself from his Uncle's presence and move home to tend to his mother, a widow and little sister. For the past ten years, the young man has remained in Oxford, the home of his family since the days of William I, taking care of his family and doing small work in the local area. As of recent, Tancred has begun to yearn for more than just a simple life and has begun to seek out service to the King or a person that he may call his liege and serve loyally. |
