    Default Installing from disc. Resolved.

    Now I've installed games by discs much in the past but recently when I try after I put in the second or 3rd disc it simply keeps asking for the disc again and again even though it's in.

    Why is this? Is it a steam problem?

    Anyway to counter it?


    Wierd just tried again for the 5th time and it's started working, sorry to waste your time.

    Make sure that the disc is OK - that is clean and does not have any fingerprints on it.

    I use a disc cleaner that is used for music CDs - well worth the investment!

    Anyway - the OP has resolved this and asked for it to be closed. So, closed.
