Knightly Orders

I was wondering on what files to modify to make chapter houses available to certain regions back in Europe, as both the Knights Templar and the Knights of St. John had infrastructure in Europe, as the effort in Europe supported the order in the Holy Lands, so i think i would like to make some chapter houses available there, my first attempts, modding Desc_regions had not yield any results, so i was looking for advice. By the time the Templar's were disbanded, most of the Holy Land was reclaimed by the Muslims, and the Templars were a large roving army who technically had loyalty to no king.

Check the EDB to see what hidden_resource is required and add it to descr_regions.

The Templars do get a house somewhere in France.

Why didn't you ask this in the thread provided for questions?

i did do that, and the Chapter house did not appear -.-, i did originally post this question in the modding question forum before posting it here -.-

I meant in the question thread of this forum.

Did you wait a turn or two after the changes? Is there a time period during which it is available? Is it available for your faction?

ah i started a new campaign after the changes, it should be available to the faction as when i take one of the cities in Holy Land i do get the building, as for the time period i don't know where to check that as i will check EDB again but i don't think i saw anything.

i am trying to add them to a non french based place for just kicks, They were centered france, they did have vast amounts of land and resources through out europe, my issue is i update the descr_regions.text with appropriate resources, they are no longer guilds, without physically modifiying descr_strat and adding the build how could you get the Chapter House to appear in the build list.

The only thing I could think of is deleting map.rwm. Or the building is available only during a certain period or has other requirements which you didn't fulfill.
