    Name: Harald Jansson

    Age: 27

Bio: Originally hailing from Sweden, Harald became a mercenary at the age of fifteen. Travelling with a small mercenary band, he traveled from Sweden to Byzantium to Morocco to fight in Lords' wars, and when the word reached the small band that there was a problem in the English line of succession, the company, who were then in Anjou, quickly set out to England. They stumbled upon the army of De Vassy, and joined them with the promise of riches.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Phillipe Eraclea
    Age : 36
    Ethnicity : Occitan
    Rank : Freedman

A French knight seeking adventure after serving the Duc du Toulouse for ten years as a retainer and being released of his oath by his liege lord who no longer required some of his knights, but a rumor is that the Duc thought Eraclea was disloyal, and therefore released him before he could cause him harm. After this, he took his daughter with him as her mother passed due to illness a year after his dismissal, and raised her to be his heir due to his lack of having a male heir. The two have arrived in England recently, via ship, in London with a small handful of Phillipe's loyal men who joined him when he left.

    Geoffrey de Montfort
Age: born in 1083 AD (age at registration: 28)
    Ethnicity: Norman
    Rank: Freedman

Being one of the several sons of Simon de Montfort I. and his wife Agnes d'Efreux, Geoffrey left the castle of his family very early when he was just 18 years old, moving to England for seeking his luck as a knight in England. However, he was forced soon to settle down at York and established a small merchant buiseness inside the city. But though he lives for a very long time at the city, he definitly is seeking more than just a life as a small merchant with noble background.

    Roland imprisoned in Rouen

    Name: Roland de Fécamp
    Age: 31
Biography: Born of simple origins in Fécamp, where the Dukes of Normandy have historically made their residence, Roland's father paid for a monastic education at the Abbey of Fécamp, but Roland was thrown out when he deflowered a local village girl, and he ran away, taking many of the abbey's literature with him.

He is now a bard, a herald, and an all-purpose scribe.

He was once imprisoned in Rouen for 27 days for singing naughty songs about the Baron (who later became Richard II) until he seduced a servant girl into helping him escape.

He uses the alias Le Fur de Ficis when writing works.

    Recent History
Imprisoned by the Earl of Leicester for a year until the Earl died, Roland wandered England during its turmoil until he was caught by Richard de Clare, the Baron of Rouen and pretender King, who recognized him and imprisoned him once again.

In the year of 1111 AD, William de Vassy frees all those who were imprisoned by the exiled Richard de Clare.
Once again, the elusive and infamous Le Fur de Ficis is scot-free.

    Aideen Chulainn

    Age: 23

    Heritage: Irish

    Profession: None, yet.

    Rank: Freedman

Bio: Aideen, often called 'Ai' by her friends, was told that her family came directly Cú Chulainn, wielder of Gae Bulg and legend of Ireland. Aideen always thought that he was not real, but then all legends had to come from somewhere, and maybe he came from this family. One family, the Donndubhán, certainly beleived that they had the blood of Cú, and are very devoted to the Chulainn family and work for them, ranging from bodyguards to cooks and farmhands. Aideen herself was facinated by the spear shaft that her family valued, apparently the shaft from the spear Gaé Bulg itself. Aideen was interested in more than just a farm life however, she wanted to find, or remake, the spearhead for the shaft and use against the foul men of the world. After a few weeks of planning she set off from her family's farm and set into the world, heading for England, and the oppitunity of a country far larger than her own.

    Name: Manannán Donndubhán
    Age: 28
    Ethnicity: Irish
    Profession: Bodyguard
    Rank Freedman
Bio: Named after the Irish Deity of the Sea, Manannán lives up to his namesake, he is built like an Oak Tree and is just as moveable when it comes to his duty as a bodyguard for Aideen Chulainn. He did not bat so much as an eyelid when Aideen told him that she was leaving the farm and going out to find the Spear-head of Gaé Bulg. The girl was always adventurous and this came as no big surprise. He was slightly against leaving his family and heading into an unknown country, but he would stay by his charge until the cold fingers of Agrona took one of them away from this world.

    Name: Roger de Blois
    Age: 20
    Ethnicity: Norman

During one job Roger and his boss were set up to be massacred. Roger managed to escape but his boss was slain in cold blood.

    Name:
    William de Alethorpe

    Age: 17

    Ethnicity: Norman

    Appearance

William bears a composed and regal-like figure, trying to flare up his personality with fiery colours procured from exotic and often rare dyes he has scrounged and bought during his early teenage life. He stands about as tall as the average man of the realm, with a semi-toned and muscular body tuned from early years of swordsmanship and hard graft in the village; slight scars can be seen snaking along his left cheek, remnants of a weigh-in with an angry boar. His hair is a blazing orange explosion of messy and relatively unstyled proportions, whilst his fiery red attire and enamelled sword complement his rather peculiar aura.

    Biography

As expected of one at the tender age of just seventeen years of age, William de Alethorpe is but a brash and inexperienced pup foraying into the vicious and unwelcoming world of adults, thieves, politics and bloodshed. His outlook on life is limited to just the safe and tranquil boundaries of the village of Alethorpe, which lay in the heart of the county of Norfolk, a unpopulated and quite dull region of the realm. Not once had William been permitted to venture further than the foreboding forests that lay in almost every direction and degree of the settlement, a stark reminder of the less than warm lands that lay beyond them; he himself had been quite content to merely languish in Alethorpe with his father, who was the minor Lord of the lands, not that a settlement of 25 people amounted to much of an estate. Training, tending the barren fields and playing with the local blacksmith's daughter was but the only things that came natural to the young lad and frankly he was not intent on changing that. However, this was perhaps about to take a sudden twist as the clattering of hardened steel upon brittle and worn tracks from the west bore upon the village.....

    Character Type -

    Main Character

    Name -

    Arthur Beaufort

    Age -

    32 years

    Ethnicity -

    Norman

    Appearance -

    WIP

    Biography -

Arthur Beaufort was the fourth of the nine children of Amalric Beaufort, a renowned Norman knight, and his wife Eleanor de Lusignan. Born in 1068, only two years after the Norman conquest of England, Arthur was one of the youngest nobility by the time of the death of King William the Conqueror. Since childhood, he was showing signs of an aggressive yet patient mentality with a keen knowledge on how to make the men obey his orders. A great personality for a potential military commander, which he would prove he was genius in.

When he was 6 year old, he was sent to London for his studies. Amalric was able to afford to pay for his son's education in all fields, although this combined with the education of his siblings put a great strain on family budget. Arthur learned horsemanship in France, swordsmanship in Germany and skills of intrigue in London itself. He showed a remarkable talent in military matters from an early age. After the insisting of a family friend, Amalric agreed to send him to Rome to interact with the clergy and gain knowledge about spiritual matters. It nearly put the family in debt, but turned out to be fruitless since Arthur was not interested in clergy one bit.

Although his education in Rome was of no use since peaceful piety was not something meant for the warlike Arthur, it paid off in the end. He was filled with militant religious zeal. His hatred for infidels grew to an extreme level, and he burned with zeal. This helped enhance his military training and he passed out at the age of 16 as a brilliant military commander...or at least he was supposed to be.

But when he came back home, he found his family shattered. His mother was ill, and his father - a once great knight - was now a drunkard who spent all his money gambling away in the taverns. The Beaufort family had taken a large debt to pay for the marriages of his five sisters, and it was getting heavier due to the gamblings of Amalric. Since he was the fourth child, Arthur had little chances of succeeding his father as the head of the house. But then a bitter feud began among his brothers, one of them died of illness and another one was murdered in the feud by his younger brother.

Amalric and Arthur later left for the First Crusade, where Amalric died heroically while leading a group of knights in the siege of Jerusalem. Arthur returned, only to find that his remaining brother and his mother have moved to the Lusignan Castle in France, a truly regrettable decision. Furthermore, his brother declared himself the head of the house before being thrown off the horse and dying. Now, Arthur remained the sole member to succeed the family. Arthur collected his spoils of war, and sold them to start a new life in England - a life free of the burdens of his family. He also married a local lady-in-waiting named Felice de Roquefort during his returning route from the Crusades.
