    Icon4 Problem launching Kingdoms expansions with Windows 8

    So, the title basically says it all. Whenever I try opening any of the expansions I get an error message saying that I need to install an operating system more advanced than Windows XP, only I have Windows 8. The main game runs fine, and I have a mod that also runs without a problem, the only time I encounter a problem is trying to open the expansions.
    I own MTW Gold in CD format, not through Steam, if that makes a difference...

    If anyone could help me out it'd be really great.
