The Interrogation to find answers

[Lord Damien]

Damon Mormont Lord of Bear island arrived At the meeting spot for the witiness that he had personally found to give him infomation about what happened the night of Lord Stark dissapprence. All of them he suspected knew something and they were going to tell him. He was dressed in all black from his pants to his shirt. He had a hood covering his face as he waited. Once they arrived he would take them to a location were he could ask them questions without worry. If this paided off he would be one step closer to finding out what happened to his Lord and maybe just maybe he would be able to find the bastard that did this and get revenge for his lord. But he brushed away those thoughts as he waited. So who will show and who will give him answers ?

The inn was full of people; one in particular was a guard of the hand who was off duty, making merry.

[Lord Damien]

Damon Mormont walked towards a man he assumed was a guard for the Hand of the King and stood next to him as he ordered some drinks for himself and the man. Once he was finish ordering he turned to look at the man from under his hood and smiled at him. The man of course could not see the smile but it did not matter nor was it important.

" I am always surpised to see a guard off duty always getting drunk these days. But that is not important. I am going to guess that you work for the Hand of the King ?. Yes that must be correct because you look like a man that would do so. Anyway I have need of your time. Do you mind if we talk in a less crowed area of the tavern ? " He asked the man in a calm but cold voice as he waited for the man to respond

He turned and looked at him, annoyed.

Damon Mormont nearly spit out his glass of wine when he heard the guard speak to him. The man just insulted a lord and if he wanted too could punished the man for speaking to him that way. But he kept his cool and sipped more of the wine or beer that he was given slowly thinking about why the man was so hostile to him. But then a idea came to him and he looked at the guard. He bought the guard more wine and sipped his own.

" Now how rude can you be sir. I am going to offer you something that if you decline will never ever get again. I am going to offer you a night with a most beautiful woman in all the realm. Yes I know a woman of that beauty and I know you might say well I am married already. But who would pass up such beauty right ?. Good Now all I need is some information and then she is all yours for the rest of the evening. All you have to do is give me information " He told the guard in a cold voice as he leaned over the counter and whsipered to the bartender

" Give him the most powerful stuff you got please, And keep on giving it to him until he is drunk " The bartender nodded his head and went to get the drinks, In the mean time Damon waited for the guard to speak once more

He spits, grabs the glass and takes a swig.

Who the are you?

[Lord Damien]

Damon Mormont chuckled to himself as he listened to the guard speak. Who he was was.. well it really depended on the person. To some he was a lover and to others a father. To most though he was the Lord Of Bear island and a Vassal to the Stark family. But why it was important to the Guard was well odd. The man was clearly getting drunk.. So maybe he could tell the man a lie. No that wont get him anywere he needed to tell the man who he was.

" I am Lord of Bear island and my name is not important at this moment of time. What is important is the information that you might have for me that involves a mystery that happened not to long ago. Were a high ranking member of society had suddenly dissapprered for no good reason. That is were you come in. I need to know anything that you might know about what happened to this man. My first question is. Do you happen to know anybody by the name of Lord Stark or heard of him ? " He asked the man in a calm voice. Good let the man think of a good response. This man had to know something and hopefully with the booze he will open up with information.

[Gandalfus]

He chuckled

Who cares about some northern lord with a prickly sense of honour?

[Lord Damien]

Damon Mormont gave a small chuckle at the man " Normally nobody would care, But Lord Stark was not just any man of the north. He was on the small council of the King as a important position of master of Coin. That position is important in the realm and thus makes him a important person. Trust me I would not be going though all of this trouble if the man was nothing more than a lord of the North. but since he is a important person well i must. So what do you know of him besides of his humor ? " He asked the man in a calm voice. Why was this man not giving him intimation like he suppose to too. What was he hiding and why , He wondered as he waited for the man to respond.

[Gandalfus]

he shrugged.

Not seen him for a while.

[Lord Damien]

Damon Mormont placed a hand on his chin as he listened to the man. So Lord stark has not been seen for a long time. But when was the last time the guard seen the Lord and were, because once he had that information he could then put together slowly where the Lord went and why or at least attempt to anyway

" When was the last time you seen Lord Stark and were ?. and if possible was he with someone or no ? " He asked the guard in a calm voice.

[Gandalfus]

He smiled malevolently, licking his lips

I don't remember - my lord. Would you look at that? My purse seems empty...

[Lord Damien]

Damon Mormont chuckled as the bartender came back with a whole tray full of wine and other beers. He smiled at the bartender and then back at the guard

" Not a problem, The Wine and beer is on my tab. So sit back and relax and drink up because your not going anywhere unless you give me some information. Now yes were was I. Ok let me change the question, When was the last time you heard anything about Lord Stark ?. Since you have not seen him for a while, clearly you would have heard something about the man. So while you are drinking think about it. ANd then go back to my first question of when was the last time you seen him. " He told the man in a calm voice, But he was getting annoyed and soon he was going to do something he might regret if the man did not answer his questions.

[Gandalfus]

He grumbled.

A few months ago, I guess.

[Lord Damien]

Damon Mormont smiled as the man slowly began to speak and give up the information that he had. Good he was getting someplace after all.

" Where did you see him a few months ago and was he with someone or was he by himself ? " He asked the man in a calm voice

[Gandalfus]

He shrugged, drinking deeply.

He went to see the hand.

[Lord Damien]

Damon Mormont smiled once the man told him who Lord Stark went to see. So his friend was right all along. The hand of the king is someone of interest in this case and this guard just confirmed his friend reasoning. Now he needed to know why or maybe the man can tell him someone else to talk to about why Lord Stark went to speak to the Hand of the King.

" Now I dont suppose you know why he went to see the Hand of the King or anyone that might know so I can ask them do you ?. If you do I need to know so that I can ask them some important questions. Once this case is settled the stark family can finally rest knowing what happened to their beloved head of family. But that can only happen if you give me more information. So please do you know anything else ? " He asked the man in a calm voice. If he could get just a little more infomation he could then tell his friend and then the next phase of the plan can go into action. But first he needed information.

[Gandalfus]

He taxed his brain, stroking his chin.

Nothing else I can recall of any note.

[Lord Damien]

Damon Mormont Nodded his head at the man " Thank you for the information. You have helped me greatly " He told the man in a calm voice before he left and looked around the tavern to see if their were any other witinesses that would want to talk to him. Now what he had the information that he wanted or at least part of it. It was time to either find someone else that might know and if not then he would go and tell his friend who would surely be happy about the news that he had uncovered, Small that it might be.
