Shogun2.exe error

Hello guys, i recently installed Shogun 2 Total War and since i've never been able to get past the loading screen before the intro its locks on 0 fps the mouse pointer acts like its loading then goes to desktop with Total War SHOGUN 2 has stopped working

i googled this problem and found few solutions that didn't help me at all

i eventually browsed the AppData folder there is a Shogun2 folder but the folders inside are empty

i tried using compatibiliy mode freed space and even uninstalled Google Chrome for nothing so if any of you could help me i'm pretty sure i'd bring up my grandma's chinese tea set and drink to that.

i would but as i said Shogun2 folder in AppData has empty folders, i absolutely have no idea about this problem i heard lots of people had this but they all solved it one way or another

well its not working i already told you i have no modified txts or something about logs gfx i have nothing its... blank i also tried disabling Nod32 no chances with that and i deleted packs that shouldn't be there, still nothing, and this is exactly why i posted a new thread because these solution i have already seen in Steamcommunity i guess i could ask the creators, altough this game is screwed with bugs and stuff like that, oh and i have no DLC's just the plain old game, anyways i think i'l go to bed it's getting late over here

If i3 second generation then yes, but it's for pc. Not sure the laptop version. BUT I did not try it post Otomo DLC pack yet so my information is not current.

You mention you've disable Nod32 but https://support.steampowered.com/kb_...9828-SFLZ-9289 siggest that you uninstall it completely.

I guess i triple posted now but anyways i came back to share news of an interesting discovery that made this game (surprisingly) work, i had a 32 bit system with 4 gigs of ram on an i3 first generation and the boring Intel HD Graphics (i reverted the drivers to an older lagless version) the thing that fixed it for me was actually adding RAM i added like 2 additional gigs of ram and tada the game worked. however i needed to get to a 64 bits which i borrowed from a friend (phew!)
