I don't know about this movie. I mean Ghengis is second to last on the list of credited Characters...

Lets just pray for not another Alexander.

its not a hollywood film
{Country: Mongolia / Japan }
so i guess there willl be no alexander much better than that
{but alexander or Genghis Khan or any other conqurer}
spend their life time for their goals
and how can any director show their whole life in film which is about 2 hour
i feel the movies should be made on particular campaign or battle to represent the depth of the matter

thats really great and ive seen the history channel genghis khan movie and it was really bad.. hope this one is a hit...

Nothing special, i dont think it will ever be very big either. Sometimes movies need Hollywood, for $.

ANd they are casting this guy as Genghis Khan???

Considering the grand chinese and japanese tradition of making "period" movies more like "fantasy" movies (with a few notable exceptions, they are far worse than Hollywood in that respect), I wouldn't hold my breath.

Og, great.. This will steal the "best foreign movie" award from us norwegians definately.. You see, we're making a movie about the resistance. (Like the awfull "Heroes of Telemark" movie from the 60's, only much better!)

Doubtless this story rings with more truth than the famous artistic renderings of Mongols sitting around campfires feasting upon captured Christian soldiers..

Yeah, the christians must've been awfull. I bet they favoured persians and arabs, they bathed more often.

this would be nice. though a movie on Richard The Lionheart would be great too imo.
