Unit in custom battles?

Hello. I was playing my vanilla shogun 2 camping recently while i realized that many units and abilities available in the campaign and [abilities] are not available in the custom battles.
I have not touched the avatar campaign and multiplayer yet so i am not sure if these things are there.
Is there any way to have them in the custom battles?

many of the abilities in Avatar conquest are not available as DEFAULT for the units, but there you can buy the upgrades for them as your units gain veterancy/experience.

But i don't find those iokk-ikki long spear ashigaru, bullet proof whatever they are called etc...

those units, you only have 1 of them in your vet list. so BE VERY careful on how you upgrade them.

Those are DLC units...they only appear if you bought it...
And they would only appear in their Respective Clan's Roster, Naturally...

yes you can have them, if you select the oda clan, AND buy the SENGOKU JIDAI unit pack dlc
