    Default Ikana playing help

Chariots seem kinda useless I mean they are powerful and can move around fast and fire arrows. But thats all they can do is fire arrows? OR am I doing something wrong? Shouldnt they be able to charge in for melee while shooting arrows? At least they need like a centurion circle as a special ability.

Im like 20 turns into my second game as the Ikana first one crashes at 15. Almost all the settlements have like 400 as population, I cant train any units I have to wait for what comes through the Ikana Fissure. All I can do is excavate ruins I was hoping once I drained the ruins because after a while the option to explore the Ruins disappears I would be able to upgrade them to towns. At regular towns I capture I can build any barracks or anything. Sense Ikana cant increase population through normal means how do I do that?

Wait...you are able to upgrade your ruins? I haven't been able to upgrade any of my ruins for any of my 3 campaigns this version. Is it population perhaps? (their growth is terrible).

Ruins are bugged. The OP said:

Which means it's not currently possible to convert ruins.
As for soldiers, Ikana does not recruit in the normal way. Excluding mercenaries, the soldiers coming from the fissures are all that you get: the fissures can replenish them for you, but you can't train new ones.

Well my biggest want related to ruins is putting Snowpeak's special ability to good use . I personally think areas like the Ikana region fit the ruins type. It'd be interesting to only allow certain factions to upgrade ruins or only certain settlements (i doubt this is possible but who knows? game modding isn't really my forte ).

Me neither I want to esp to help with this mod and maybe Warcraft total war but I have to many other projects. I wasnt aware that certain ruins like Snowpeak have special abilities? Ikana area fits Ruins type very well. I hope Each faction has unique cultures. Id like Ikana to have the city style like they had in Majoras mask. Like it look old and fragile but its not ya know?

ikana can actaully train troops, they just need a real city. not ruins.

Yeah there is one settlement to the west of Ikana, one east, and one south east. These are the closeest aand the one to the east is especially close. Also, yes, Snowpeak has a special ability (you can just start a quick campaign as Hyrule or something and check it out if you want). It allows the owner to build any units from their faction as long as Snowpeak has the proper buildings to do so (not positive on this but pretty sure). I'm unsure how this willl work in the future with thing such as the Triforce Vanguard (who is a unit who can only be trained in Hyrule Prime) though.
