Cannot Start a Campaign + custom battle crash

I have recently installed the Third Age Total War with the MOS sub mod, i have a non steam copy which i have updated to the latest version and i also have the latest versions for both of the mods.

My problem is when i try to start a campaign it let me choose the faction, adjust settings and such but when i press start game it takes me back to the previous screen where you select either third age campaign, fellowship campaign, custom battles etc. The same thing happens when i try to start a fellowship campaign aswell. Another issue is that the game crashes when i try to start a custom battle.

I have looked at some solutions on similar issues to mine but these have not worked.

so far i have disabled the settings on my computer where my clock will automatically adjust clock for daylight saving time.

and it didnt work, does anyone have a solution for me?

I forgot to specify that when i cant start a campaign it doesn't crash it just returns me to the previous menu.

Welcome to TWC forums!
First, have you run Cleaner.bat file found in M2TW\ mods\ Third_Age_3\ folder?
If that doesn`t fix your problem, reinstalling is next step.

This solution has to be done BEFORE installing TATW (Third Age Total War). Did you do this before, or after installing TATW?

If you did it after installing TATW+MOS, you have to reinstall I`m afraid.

hi my friend i dont hav that file cleaner.bat in my system and i have tried almosy every solution please help me i have been trying for three days t play battle in battle maps but it crashes sometimes i managed to play one battle in osgoliath city but in the next battle crash again PLEASE HELP ME GYUS
