Doesn't look like its fake to me. Yes, the actual layout of the Americas has been changed a bit so they fit on the map, but you can see florida and the caribbean islands in the north, central maerica with the aztecs in the middle, and what looks like part of brazil in the south.

They've obviously scewed the orientation of certain parts of the map so everything fits on it.

I'm sure the Atlantic is wider than that.

No, I seriously doubt thats fake. Anyway, its a pretty nice map. It seems to represent the Byzantine's and Muslim factions a lot better, due to all the rebel provs and such.

I'm sure the Atlantic is wider than that.
I know, but they made it like that so it would all fit in.

I hope that the Americas aren't as small as they look on that. On that screenshot it seems that there are only 4 or 5 territories in them.

A logical decision. Who needs a large sea?

They don't want that large distances I guess. Must fit on the minimap.

Is it just me? I think it looks absolutely rediculous, like the map is drawn by an 8 year old kid or something, horrific. Im generally positive to M2TW (with exceptions), but wtf. Where is Graham Chapman in a british officers uniform breaking in saying ''Stop that, this is just silly''.

Are you guys serious? That's an incredibly accurate portrayal of the Americas in that minimap... how does it look horrible? As if the Total War series doesn't get spiked enough for 'lacking realism', when it does have realism it's ugly? :hmmm:

I think it looks good. Can't wait to storm that continent as every faction!
