Problem unpacking?
Hello,
I'm having a problem very similar to this person (http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=586760). I'm running TWM2 v.1.03, so the CMD closes at around 23 000 files of 36 000. Why?

Re: Problem unpacking?
I'm running Windows 8, I don't think that exists.
Also, I was looking very intently, and I managed to see the error message it makes for a split second. I saw the words "could not find".

Re: Problem unpacking?
A little WTF moment here. So I was moping about my files when I saw Virtualstore. Interested, I click and found TWM2 in the list. What the hell? I clicked and I found... Data files? All of them. Descr_names, absolutely everything that you should get when unpacking. Is it meant to unpack to virtualstore\programfiles\sega\medieval2 or C:\programfiles\sega\medieval2 ??

Re: Problem unpacking?
Blame it on every lawyer that ever sued Microsoft for not having any security layer until Vista. This is the reason for the virtual store BS.

Re: Problem unpacking?
Yes, and you will also need to edit the names.txt buried in the names.txt.string.bin in the data\text folder.
The Mod Workshop is full of tools and tutorials for all this.
