RTW on Chrome OS or Linux?

Hello, I've been wondering, since RTW is an older game and doesn't utilize the processing or graphics capabilities that exist today, can I install RTW on a Chromebook or a customized ultrabook running a Linux OS? Playing RTW and its mods anywhere I want to on a portable device would be really cool. And at $200, the price is right to that.

I'm not sure at all about ChromeOS, but RTW isn't too tough to get running under Wine - See the AppDB for details. I have it installed, but it's been quite awhile and can't remember too much about it. IIRC, I needed to rename the videos folder (so it wouldn't try to play any) or it would crap out.
