February 2013 *Mock* Battle Event Sign-Up

*NB: You do not need to be a current player to take part*

As things are slow right now, in the RPG, Lucius and I have decided that perhaps it would be fun to try a large scale mock battle, that would supposedly take place, maybe, 20 years in the future.
We suppose the battle would between an older Aemond who has been king for a little under 20 years, and the young and charismatic (but internally evil) Prince Vaelys.

First, we have a poll on location.
This really decides eveything.

Then, we have sign up.
There will be 10 slots to start with, but LM and I may see fit to add more later.
Note that anyone can hypothetically play any house, but, for example, since Lord Dread is the Tyrell player, he has first call on that if he wants to play them.
Also to note, LM, Gandy, and/or I must also accept your sign-up. There may be many reasons why a sign-up could be denied; we will let you know why if this happens.

Because of the location poll, players cannot however decide the side(s) they choose just yet.
After that is decided, we will try and move players around for both balance and logic.

Ex. Let's say the Dornish prefer Vaelys, but the location of the battle would suit it better that they decided to side with Aemond.

Also, troop numbers will be given to you right before the battle. You cannot decide them yourself.

Last but not least, I cannot stress this enough. Please do not abuse our skills system.
Please do not put an outrageous amount of skill points in the martial abilities just so you can have an edge.

Will this mock battle have any relevant effects on the game as is or is the mock part true to its irrelevance? If not sign me up, Orysten "hammerdrop" Baratheon by that time he will have +4 field battle.

It takes place in a hypothetical future of our own timeline, but no, it will not have any affect on the current game. Likewise, there will be no rewards either.

Edit: Do not sign up as a character. Just the House at this point.

I would try my luck with the Tyrell forces, too.
They would be under the command of a fictive Lord Mace Tyrell of the future (should be 45 years old at this time) and I also hope that a big part of my army will be cavallery troops, because Rohirrim armies are always fun to play.

Due to the fact that you cannot be trusted with major houses. I really hate to say this. This maybe a mock battle...but this decision was made due to the untrustworthy reputation you have given yourself through your actions to the moderators.

We may give such a privilege back if you keep good behavior.

Pyrrhus, is there another house you would like to play?

Part of the reason Trot didn't use the Starks is because they would be quite neutral to this situation I suspect.

Actually my reasoning is they most likely wouldn't be present at the battle. None of those locations are in the north and most of them are very far away. I just was looking for a good battle rp. I do not care either way but I do not think they would be present. Where they are neutral or just can't move the armies south in time.

I'd also like to note something:

Players can tear houses in two, as long as the other player desiring that house agrees to do so.
Having one house split across the two armies make things interesting.
