Converting Ruins

Forgive me if it's obvious at all but where is the option to convert ruins? I have yet to find it, regardless of which ruin building i destroy (even waiting turns up turns for population growth if that is needed). So can anyone tell me where it is so i can see if I actually have it and this sin't a bug?

So you can't use Snowpeak's special ability at all then really? well that sucks :/

Well ,what you can do is build the excavations, then when you cant build anymore, just demolish them(Sell/delete building) and build them again to have SOME income from them, especially the soldiers and Relics

Well yeahthere's that, I've been doing that lol. Just sucks can't use Snowpeak's special ability to advantage. At least its probably one of the easiest ruins to defend.
