Scripted army spawns
Hey guys
I stared a new campaign with Sylvania, which turns out to be HARD.
The longest i've been able to survive is about 15 turns(first crusade).I don't really see why the AI should get full stacks for free.It makes certain parts of the game very annoying like for instance fighting the SAME beastman stack for the 30th time.Or the SAME two ork armies that appear every two turns. It gets REALLY frustrating if you try to take a nearly empty settelment, only to see 2 full stacks appear in the next turn.
So i decided to change the campaign script to reduce the amount of scripted stacks, which was succesfull to some degree but f'cked up some part and the game keeps crashing, so i reused the original file.
So here is my question.
Can anyone of you kind people edit the script to basically half the army spawns?
Thanks in advance! ;D

Re: Scripted army spawns
I cannot, though I have tried something before. leave free upkeep troops in your towns, and take everyone else to another part of the map, maybe the border princes or badlands. Conquer a large developed city and start your faction there. Let your old towns fall one by one, and sell everything in them just before they fall. Come back when you are stronger and re-conquer.

Re: Scripted army spawns
I concur; the scripted army spawns can get just downright silly. In my current game I must have close to 20,000 Greenskins stacking up in the Badlands, with spawns happening over and over again! I can understand what the good developers were aiming for, but this is just ridiculous.
