    Default Mod that only affects the player

    Sorry in advance if I have posted this is in the wrong place

    I have seen and made mods that reduce the build time for units/buildings to one turn and the research time for tech to one turn. But I've seen people asking if it's possible to make a mod like this that only affects the player and not the AI as well. I don't know how to do this or if it's even possible so I thought I'd ask you guys

    If it is possible, I would like to try to make a mod that does it. So any guide or tutorial you know of that will help me would be a great help

    It is possible but I am not aware of how to do it myself anymore..

    I used to like to make my own campaign effect bundle and use the scripting.lua to give that as a reward for the first mission. It's been a while since I've actually done that, so I don't know if I can walk you through it, but there are effects you could use to reduce build and recruitment times, or change gdp or food, unit experience and other stats, and pretty much everything else.
