Simple Question: What is your Fall of the Samurai army (for multiplayer)?
I've not seen a topic on this yet, so I thought I'd ask what is the army you generally use?

I only have 4 bronze stars but have an army that has given me some good results playing against other lower stars players
My army consists of:
5 red bear units
2 bow kachi units
3 shogitai units
2 spear levies units
1 kyoto police units
4 yari ki uniys
There are some koku left that I dont remember the exact amount but I use it for vets but cant afford much. Im currently on a 6 game winning streak and only had 1 lose
That is a good army.
Depending on which army I am facing (either a more traditional army, or a more modern one) I will take one or two marine units, one unit of arm strong guns, a few units of elite line infantry, and two revolver cavalry, along with a unit or two of carbine cavalry (depending on the funds). If I have funds left over I may bring a ninja, an elite skirmisher unit, and/ or a yari kachi or two.
If I am facing a more traditional army I will generally go heavier on the guns, or include a sword unit or two.
Usually though, it depends on the skill of my opponent, his rank, and what army I feel like commanding.

1 General
2 Kihetai
2 Tosa Riflemen
2 Spear Levy
2 Sabre Cavalry
1 Parrot Gun
I think this was the last FotS army I fielded online. All the units bar the spears were heavily upgraded. Both the Kihetai and Tosa Riflemen can hold their own really well, whilst most of the damage comes out from the Parrot Gun. The Levy's secure my flanks from cavalry charges and my own cavalry can be used either defensively or offensively quite easily. I usually keep my cavalry as a reserve, as I have to commit all my rifles to the front line, thus have no infantry reserves outside of the spears.
