Default Hole in the Family Tree

I have found a way of messing with my family.

In my Danish campaign, my heir got a marriage proposal. I minimized it because my diplomat was close to the English princess. She accepted the marriage alliance and afterwards, I also accepted the proposal. But the adoption failed and the young man died? (That's what it said anyway) Anyway two turns later, a general appears asking for my princesses hand in marriage, the one who proposed and was left for the English woman. I accepted and he became a family member instead of a general. But he wasn't on the tree.

Is anybody here Danish? Can you please explain your adoption and marriage laws? PLEASE?

I am me. You are not me. You are you. If I was you, I wouldn't be me.
If you were me, I'd be sad.But I wouldn't then be me because you'd be me so you wouldn't be me because I wasn't me because you were me but you couldn't be because I'd be a different me. I'd rather be any kind of bird (apart from a goose) than be you because to be you I'd have to not be me which I couldn't do unless someone else was me but then they would be you aswell so there would still be no me. They would be you because I was you so to restore balance you would have to be me and them meaning all three of us would become one continously the same. That would be very bad.

Well, first of all, it's something normal for a general to become a FM when he marries one of your princesses. That's why he wants to marry her (well, maybe only one of the reasons, maybe he really loves her ): he is a simple general, if he marries with a princess he will be part of the royal family. And, secondly, the hidden family tree is a known "feature" of the game.

But she wasn't part of my family!!!

(Using placeholder names cause I can't remember them)
Prince Charming is set up with Princess-with-a-Pea. Then Mr. Matt Diplo finds him a wife, the Frog Princess. She marries him after Princess-with-a-Pea proposes. He accepts to P-w-a-P after marrying FP. P-w-a-P dies before he can be adopted. (That's the message that came up.) 2 years later, P-w-a-P, who couldn't marry into my family, marries some Random Guy who becomes a family member. But his wife tried to marry my prince and failed, so she isn't part of the family. He was a random guy (how ironic?) so obviously not related to my family so therefore, neither of them appear in the tree. I WAS ONLY TRYING TO GIVE MY PRINCE TWO WIVES. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?????

Edit: Pictures when I can get them.

Yep, it's too much, your male characters can only have one wife.

The bugg appeared because you did this.

I'm not Danish, but according to Wikipedia...

The phrase more danico[1] is a Mediaeval Latin legalistic expression which may be translated as "in the Danish manner" or "by Norse customary law". It designates a type of traditional Germanic marriage practiced in northern Europe during the Middle Ages.[2]
    ...
The examples that have come down to us involve powerful rulers in a union with a highborn woman of somewhat lesser rank.
    ...
More danico permitted polygyny (serial or simultaneous), but is not synonymous with it. The "putting away" of a more danico wife could apparently be done at the mere wish of the husband; the rights of the wife are unclear. Often the putting away was done with the intention of marrying a still higher-ranking woman more christiano; but since there are numerous instances of the husband returning to the more danico wife, it is possible that the relationship had merely been deactivated or kept in the background. The union could also be fully dissolved, so that the wife was free to marry another man. Her consent in the matter may or may not have been required; again, the consensual aspect is unknown. (See below.)
