Clicked on Gametype but DOSE NOTHING!

Hello. Had this problem.

Game loads up fine. i click on campagin. Choose my faction click start campagin. And it just brings me back to the game type selection. Same thing happens when i choose a historic battle or custom battle. I sort it all out choose my army. Click start. and it just brings me straight back to the home page.

why is this happening? I did get 1 historic battle working at 1 stage but now its not working. can someone explain?

What i have installed

third age total war part 1 and 2.
PATCH 3.1 AND 3.2
and MOS submod.
saved it over "teutonic"
all works when loading it up but nothing will play.

This sounds like wrong installation.

1. What Windows do you have?

2. Is you M2TW steam or non steam version?

3. Does your M2TW and Kingdoms work?

4. What is the correct folder path where your M2TW is installed? ( is it C:\ Program Files(x86)\ or steam\etc.., tell us the exact one).

its non steam.
medieval 2 works fine.
so does kingdom. Ive followed a tutorial. re-installed twice.
probably is the mos.

As StealthFox said, go to MOS submod thread and post there your problem. And this time give us the answers on all Four Questions I left you in my previous post, especialy on what WINDOWS do you have.
Go to MOS thread and leave your answers on these four questions there.

I think this is a known problem with MOS. Try asking there, they will be able to help you.

Yes, MOS is in Submods. You have run Cleaner.bat file found in ../mods/Third_Age_3/ folder? That usually solves this issue with MOS submod.
