Today, when the leader of minority party and parliment member Ahmet Doğan was speaking at a confarence, a person tried to assasinate him. The gun did not fire, Ahmet Doğan is not wounded. He is a Turk citizen of Bulgaria. Who are at the behind of this attack? What is your opinions?

The shooter's name is Октай Енимехмедов (Oktai Enimehmedov) he's from my home city Burgas 25 years old.His brother is Метин Енимехмедов (Metin Enimehmedov) who is a a winner in a bulgarian tv show called "Dance with me".In a phone call his brother has said that he didn't even know that Oktai was involved in politics and he was in a shok of what happend.http://www.blitz.bg/news/article/177091 can't find anything in english yet.

This is really unbelievable. An attack to the Turkish minority leader, one of the most prominant figures of Bulgaria, is just what we need to start a regional crisis.

Rolling down is the automatic defence at these kind of situation, i think it's teached during security trainings. A moving target is harder to shoot. A face to face confrontation with the attacker will just make you killed. The best thing to do is to roll to give security personnel time to take action

It seems that attacker too is a Bulgarian Turk with past crime record in the police documents. It was a prime example of luck that the gun was malfunctioned. Else, the video would be clearest seen attack of century.

Considering the attacker is a member of that party, and considering the attacker's criminal background it sure not over political views on party matters methinks. Personal matter or paid job could be.

It's rather weird for a personal attack though, I mean for a party member it could be much easier to kill him somewhere else in a more private manner and have a chance to escape too.

This kind of assasination is to send a message and have a lot of publicity, as it's impossible for the assasin to actually escape.
