    Default ZoR question

    Hello, i was wondering how i can make it so for every province i take to be required to rebuild the barracks from scratch instead of using the one already there. Thanks.

    I think there was a tutorial for this, somewhere, here at TWC. :hmmm: I myself don't know it, but I'll look for it and post here should I find it.

    Thanks but i dont want to restrict troops to certain provinces, i just want when i capture a province to not have a high-level barracks so i can recruit the best troops from the start. You know like in RTR where you have to build auxilia buildings and then rebuild the barracks to be able to recruit your troops.
    But im thinking that maybe if i make all the barracks take a long time to build then that would also slow down the game right? But would that hinder the computer or will it do just as good as a human player if i put the barracks to something like 15 turns to build.

    Don't know how length of building time affects computer but don't include anything that requires an existing barracks to be destroyed. I'm pretty sure the AI never destroys buildings even if not doing so stops it building units / further buildings etc. (exception would be if anyones managed to do script to force destruction of barracks on settlement capture????)

    If you want to make it harder for human player and not AI its sometimes easy to decide which faction you're going to play and adjust EDB / EDU for just that faction.

    The problem is that the barracks and archeries are the same for all factions so i cant make my faction the only one to have longer build times.
    Do you have any more information on how to go about making a script to destroy selected buildings on capture?

    That is not possible, as far as I now. You can script the damage of buildings, but they will still be there to be repaired.

    Why not when you take any province, destroy any existing barracks and starts from the scratch. You can destroy buildings. This assumes you're playing vanilla right ?
