Uninstall + install help

Can someone tell me how I could uninstall TATW 3.2 to 3.1 plz, because I want to download Baron Samedi submod. And while your at it, could you tell me if I'll have to uninstall MOS b1.41 to play Baron Samedi?

Well, you could do the Dual installation of submods, rename Third_Age_3 folder where your MOS is installed to MOS, then open this renamed MOS Folder and do the following:

1. Open with Notepad TATW .CFG file and change this:

[features]
editor = true
mod = mods/Third_Age_3

to this:

[features]
editor = true
mod = mods/MOS

Save and Exit.


2. Open Third Age .BAT file ( right mouse click on it and EDIT) and change this:

cd ..\..
start kingdoms.exe @mods\Third_Age_3\TATW.cfg
cd mods\Third_Age_3\
wscript G5BAISwitcher.vbs

to this:

cd ..\..
start kingdoms.exe @mods\MOS\TATW.cfg
cd mods\MOS\
wscript G5BAISwitcher.vbs

Save and Exit.


3. Install TATW 3.0 ( both parts of course) and TATW 3.1 Patch to your Medieval 2 Total War folder.
You will get a Third_Age_3 folder again in ..Medieval 2 Total War\ mods folder, only this TATW version will be TATW 3.1.

4. Then install Barone`s submod to your new Third_Age_3 folder and that`s it.

So your telling that I must re-download TATW to have 3.1 (even If I already download it to have 3.2?)

If you have all four TATW Installers somewhere on your hard drive when you downloaded them for the first time, then use those. You don't need to download them again, unless you erased them from your hard drive.
I stil have TATW Installers which I downloaded last year for the first time, they are on two of my hard drives( one is an external and serves as a backup).

Don`t tell me you deleted those four Installers which you downloaded and used to install Third Age Total War?

1. You have downloaded TATW 3.0 part 1, TATW 3.0 part 2, TATW 3.1 Patch, TATW 3.2 Patch INSTALLERS so you can install Third Age TW and patch it up to 3.2 version with that last TATW 3.2 Patch.

2. If these INSTALLERS ( TATW 3.0 part 1, TATW 3.0 part 2, TATW 3.1 Patch, TATW 3.2 Patch INSTALLERS) are stil present on your hard drive, you can use them again to install another copy of Third Age TW, but this time use only TATW 3.0 part 1, TATW 3.0 part 2 and TATW 3.1 Patch INSTALLER so you can install new copy and update Third Age TW to 3.1 version.

BUT !!!!! IF YOU WANT TWO SUBMODS AT THE SAME TIME:

Before installing this new copy of TATW ( updated to 3.1 ONLY) do what I told you in my first post here ( change the name of your existing Third_Age_3 folder to MOS and change the text in those files I showed you).
