    Default Error when launching the game

    I get an error message every time I launch the game I followed the instructions to the letter, I have a steam copy of Medieval total war 2 if that helps, but the error i receive is "Medieval 2 total war has ecountered an unspecified error and will now exit"


    im sorry if this is a repost (for likely the 100th time) but I got sick of wading through posts of similar problems but not mine I just really wanna play! any help is appreciated thanks in advance!

    Review this thread to make sure you installed correctly. Try again to uninstall all TATW related files, then try Method 2 in that link, it's the easiest way.
