    House Vithil
The Westerlands will always be ours

    The History
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
In the before before time when the race of men were with little, there was a father and he had one daughter, Her name was
Vithil. She was beautiful, because her hair was as white as snow and her eyes were as green as grass. He had also 2 sons,
they were twins and both younger than Vithil, but after some time the people in the village started to think that Vithil
was a witch and so Vithil could not go outside, if she did she would be yelled out. So she stayed inside. Unfortunately she
went to the forest on that terrible day. After a while the father and his sons went looking for her, until midnight,
until morning, but she was never found again. The father suspected that the villagers had done something with her, but he
    could not prove it.

When some time had passed and memory's were only vague in there mind. The father called his sons, Nidar and Coldir, The
father said to them that his time has almost come. He also said that when he was no more on this world that something
terrible would happen and his sons needed to prepare for this. Now the story of Nidar and Coldir begins, because of what
the father said. They builded both a tower with fortifications on differents hills. The tower from Coldir was the highest,
however the tower from Nidar was the strongest. When both towers were finished, the father passed away. The sons knew
something was going to happen now. On this moment they saw a sign, it was a beautiful white eagle flying around in the sky,
after a while the eagle sat on the tower of Coldir, it was the highest point in all the region. The eagle was for both
Nidar and Coldir a sign that you were safe from the terror's that were yet to come. Because of this Nidar rebuilded his
tower and made it even higher as that from Coldir. Now the Eagle sat on the tower of Nidar. This made Coldir Jealous and
he also builed his tower higher. And so Coldir and Nidar became rivals and they tried to build the highest tower so the eagle
sat at there tower. Coldir builded much faster than Nidar and so Nidar Sabotaged Coldir's tower and it collapsed. Coldir was
very angry and so he destroyed Nadir's tower.

Now the terrible day had come and none of the 2 towers stood anymore (they have been rebuild some time later). They came on horses with many swords and many spears.
The brothers had to put there differences aside and they needed to stand together. They rallied all the villagers men and
they went to battle with the raiders. However they didnt stand a change and in the short battle many villagers died
including Coldir. Nadir was running away from them and hided in a haystack. Everyone thought the battle was over, but then
the Eagle came. He flew right to the leader of the raiders and pulled of his head and throwed it away. The raiders were
stunned and Nadir came out of his hideout and slew 3 of the raiders. He jumped on a horse and runned towards the other raiders
and he killed many more. Now the villagers were not afraid anymore and they helped Nadir. And so the raiders fled, or they
were dead. Nadir and the villagers were victorious.

When the battle was over Nadir called the Eagle, she came down and she talked to Nadir. She said who she was, Nadir was
stunned for a moment, but also very happy, because he had found his sister. Since then the villagers worshipped the White
Eagle. And At his moment House Vithil was born and Nadir became King of the village, when was king he did some very good
things and the Village grew until it became a large city with many people. Nadir Called the city Coldir, in honor of his brother.

King Nadir did some great things for his People and he passed away peacefully. His son Prince Coldir Vithil, became the
new king. He wanted not only peace in his City, but around all the world and so he went on conquering other City's. His
son and his grandson, continued this path and around 100 years past from the present day. All the western Lands were safe
and peace was finally Reached in those lands.

At this day, the king of the western lands was Baldir Vithil, also know as the peaceful, because he never fought a war.
The eldest of his Children was a daughter called Aria. He also had 2 son's a twin. They were called Baldor and Caldor.

You need to choose the Spoiler option when you use the "Go Advanced" while replying, it's a Red Exclamation button.

Dude, when i have spoken with you, and i had the same talk with Kings of Arnor, is that your houses doenst fit in the North Region. First thing that any history that mention the normal ASoIaF Houses won't be accepted. So doenst matter if you say Stark or Stack, it's the same.

Btw sorry to say that, its a constructive hint, i can't understand why everybody is using the same plot "I was a minor house, won lands from the old King, and made my way to proeminence with my own effort". Ok it's beautiful, but it's clichê. Why don't you all try to explain how the north at a lot of small villages and feuds all scattered and without a leader, and then someway your King made a crusade to unify your land? Where is the mention in your histories about the weather, the wall, the others? I said it' the same continent without the Houses, but the Westeros problems still exist.

When i said to you if you need help, is with your history, i'll handle the images and the factions changes, don't worry about it, i'm working on that already ^^

The second is better Louis, but i believe you should move the tree up a little bit, maybe let it be bigger, so we'll have the impression that the owl is in the middle, not above the tree.

About the north they don't need to do what i said, i just explained that they need to do something different, the only limit for their creatons are their own imagination.

So by me saying the kings in the north were the Stacks is mentioning the Starks? There is no connection the names i believe i changed and the Stack weapon is not a great sword but a large

axe. And I did mention the wall. I have edited my post multiple times and i am quite content with it. I changed my religon, took out my old coat of arms and made a new one. I think the whole battle

of the Frozen fields and the Stack line being extinguished is unique. And that i have a large civil war in mine. I showed that my house is noble and brutal. I think my house is finished and I will

not make many more changes to.

Hi all, I'm a newbie to hotseats, but not to rp's thankfully. I'd like to use this space to reserve a space for my kingdom and it's family. I'm thinking right now of claiming the Iron Isles, but if anyone is already looking at that, please say something. I'll be updating this post periodically as I do the required bits. It's going to be awesome playing with you all!

You can't edit posts untill you have 25 posts in total, you now have 11.

The Iron Isles have already been chosen, see the last post in the first page, I think only this region is left:

Region G - Middlelands Kingdom: Nightsong, Cider Hall, Ashford, Bitterbridge, Tumbleton, Stoney Sept, Sow's Horn, Atranta, Hayford, King's Landing, and Bronzegate.

Well, if it's the only one left, I'll take it. And HOLY SHEEBAGS I GET KINGS LANDING! (Reserve the Midlands for me) Thanks!
I will be presenting House Ravencross of the Midlands in short order. (Don't worry I do have requirements ready, I'm just going to try and get more posts in elsewhere first)

Well KL doesn't really exist, only its location does but if you want to place your Huge City on that location then it will certainly look like KL.

That's what I meant And after counting the settlements, I think my faction is down by one. All the others have 12, Midland only has 11. Really looking forwards to this

All Regions will have settlements added, since the next version of FaB has a little bit more places. Even the ppl who has 12 settlements has the same amount of points to build then, and if in the next version, i need to let some factions have 12/13 settlements, i'll keep the same amount of points in the same way. So, if you think a little bit, less settlements in your region can let you have more upgraded settlements, since you need to split your points a little bit more.

Btw the Regions already reserve have the brand "ALREADY TAKEN" in the first post. Like i told in the beginning of this Hotseat, i'll choose the Houses between the best made ones, with a good background and that fits well in the region that you choose. Even if somebody already applied for one region, but his house is not linked on the first post, is because that guy is missing something, used the normal ASoIaF in their histories or maybe doenst fit well in the region he choosed. Sou you can try your luck in the same region, good luck.

I'm looking foward to see who will take the Middlelands. It's like the Tully's or the Holy Roman Empire. You can expand to all the sides, but in the same way you're surrounded by possible enemies.

You said you are a experienced RP player, so i believe its not gonna be a problem, since you can manage to have some NAP or Alliance with some houses near you, and focus ur attacks in another ones.

I think I'll stick with the Midlands now, they'll probably have the most interesting gameplay, and I don't want to start the game off by alienating someone, or possibly nullifying all their hard work. Thanks for the clarification though.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the moment we've all been waiting for, I proudly present

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
House Ravencross of the Northern Archonate

    Motto: Arisen from the Chaos

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    History:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
As their names might suggest, the proud Ravencross originate from the frigid North. Centuries ago their ancestor, Jorm the Mighty conquered a vast swath of Westeros that stretched down into the heart of the Midlands. Sadly, Jorm’s empire was eroded from within, and the Ravencross’ lost battle after battle and lost city after city. They were forced back to their homelands, where the lesser houses staged a coup and attempted to wrest the Northern Archonship away from them. However, a lesser house, the Foxbanes, betrayed their allies and joined the royalist cause, turning the tide of the war with critical information. This was to the benefit of both, for now the Foxbane nobility had a claim to the whole of Westeros and the Ravencross were saved from utter annihilation. Together, for many years the two houses have worked together using a mix of politicking and sheer military might to secure the Northern Regions from the grasps of the Southrons, the greedy swipes of the east and West Kingdoms, all the while looking to reclaim that which was their old empire.

The second most influential Northern House, the Foxbanes, have repeatedly intermarried with the Ravencross, and now it is almost a tradition for the heirs of both houses to wed each other. Consequently, Jormunten’s refusal to marry his Foxbane betrothed caused quite a stir, lowering the loyalties of the Foxbane Lords significantly. Jormlek, after thoroughly attempting to coerce his son away from his marriage to different woman, failed and had to amend relations with the Foxbanes by promising to wed Jorlann to the next eligible Foxbane woman, something that didn’t sit well with the hedonistic young man. Tensions are stirring in the Northern Kingdoms, let us pray they don’t tear it apart. King Jormlek stands poised in the middle of a crossroads, ready to expand in every direction, so long as he can keep his friends close and his enemies even closer.

    Religion:

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    The Pantheon of the Morrja

When the Ravencross fled the destruction of their homeland, they took their religion with them. Though it now is a far cry from the hard, brutal religion it once was, having been mixed with the softer Midland Gods, it still retains the aspect of gritty survival at all costs, something both peoples have in common. At the age of 14, young boys are required to participate in a highly secret “fight to the death”. They are ripped from their beds and taken deep into either a dungeon or the woods. Their of age male relatives are all there to watch, but most will be hidden away in the shadows. In the dark of night, they are made to fight a stranger, usually another boy their age who is also undergoing the ritual. There are no rules. Of course, the men of both families involved don’t want either combatant to die, so the boys are told the fight is to the death, and only one may become a man but are actually separated before any serious damage can be done. Sometimes bones are still broken and occasionally an eye gouged out, but the families involved know the risks and there is no ill will on either side. Passing the ritual doesn’t require a win, only that the boy held his ground, didn’t get severely injured and put up a worthy fight.

The head deity is the female goddess Morrja. She is the goddess of War, fertility, Imminent Death, and survival. Legend has it that she was abandoned by her father, the Archon Caractann, because he wished for a male god instead of a female. Morrja was fostered in the wilderness by a fox who protected her, and a raven, who gave her wisdom. As such, she is able to assume the shapes of both as well as many other animals to observe mortals at will. She has the black hair signature of the Ravencross family, but the green eyes of the Foxbane line. It is said that warriors who are to fall in battle have a vision of her washing their bloodied armor in a stream. When heaven becomes boring or frustrating, the Morrja may assume one of three human figures, an old crone, a middle aged woman, or a beautiful young girl depending on her whims. The crone usually means she is delivering a prophecy, the middle woman is a teacher of the military sciences, and the young woman usually seduces her mortal lovers. Perhaps the first recorded mortal lover is Jorm the Mighty. With her guidance he was able to conquer much of Westeros until finally his pride grew too great and the Morrja let his dynasty fall. There are numerous other important gods, but the most worship is given to Morrja. Her priests come in two types. Raven Priests ‘fly’ far and wide to spread her divine mandate, and her Fox Inquisitors snuff out heresy at home.

    Family:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Active Members:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Grand Archon Jormrek(51)

Bio: Jormrek is the head of House Ravencross, a stern and austere man who has taken every precaution in raising his children after a freak accident involving a pet wolf caused his first wife’s death. Following her death, as custom insisted, he married her unwed sister, solidifing the bond between the Ravencross and the other powerful house, the Foxbanes. There are a few questions about why his children from both marriages are so close in age, however... He fathered two children with her and tried to dictate his children’s every move. Unfortunately, only one of them was receptive to his harsh discipline and turned out the way he wanted, but just barely. After keeping his house at the top of the Northern nobility for many, many years, he is the perfect politician, whose ability is only rivalled by his pragmatism.
Traits: Perfect Politician, Utterly Pragmatic, Severe, Skilled Bureaucrat, Battle Scarred, Politcally Powerful, Harsh Justice, Open to Murder, Slow to Trust. 5 command stars, 7 authority rating, 6, and 5 Dread.

    Lord Archon Jormunten (27)

Bio: The eldest son and heir of House Ravencross, Jormunten is nearly everything his father dreamed, save for the fact that he can’t navigate politics to save his life, possibly literally in the future. This man is loyal beyond question, and if his father needs a place conquered or subdued, Jormunten is the one to be sent. The only time he was ever seriously at odds with his father was when he married a Dolphinspear for love, rejecting his father’s arranged marriage to a Wolfsblood, a wound between them only recently healed now that his infant son, Jormvas has been born. In his younger years he was a rather small lad, always picked on by his peers. His father taught him how to use his wits instead of his brawn to defeat his antagonists, and when he did finally grow to become the hulking young man he is now, he is able to use both facets equally to devastating results. Years of reading the military history of the North and other faction’s tactics have left him eager and ready to fight in his first real war, aside from the minor rebellions he has been quashing as practice. However, letting him stew inside a library has made him question the purpose and legitimacy of religion. His father insists he continue to at least appear to practice to keep the people appeased.
Traits: Born Conquerer, Strategically Sound, Logistics Expert, Drillmaster, Adopts Scouting, Religiously Improper, Night Fighter, Politcally Poor, Healthy, No Nonsense, Effective Ambusher. Should have about 7 Command (if that’s ok), 8 loyalty, 2 piety, 1 dread

    Jorlann (17)

Bio: The handsome, charming, but arrogant son of Jormlek and Amme Foxbane, a product of his father’s second marriage. A womanizer to the core, he complains like a little boy if he doesn’t have a different woman every day, to the eternal disgust and ire of his father and step-brother Jormunten. He is so handsome that even his step-sister Valla is enamored with his looks despite his blood relations. There are rumors that he doesn’t just sleep with women as well. Somehow this endears him to the people, and he is often seen in the streets conversing with the common folk. He is not on the best of terms with his step-sibling Jormunten, despite holding him in high regard. A relatively lackluster commander, and administrator, he admires and does his best to try and be as talented as Jormunten with minimal results.
Traits: Fertile, Striking to Behold, Instigator, Everyone’s Friend, Womanizer, Eye for Beauty, Brave, Uninhibited. Should have 3 command stars, No dread or chivalry, 5 loyalty, 4-5 piety

    Valla (19)

Bio: Sister to a loving brother, daughter to a doting father, and one of the most beautiful women in the North, if not all Westeros. Valla is a wildcard. Her father’s strict discipline seems to have had no effect on her as she does whatever she likes, whenever she likes, without heeding the consequences. This has made her rather careless towards the feelings of others. She’s had numerous lovers, but with help from Jormunten, she has been able to hide them from her father, so far... Or maybe he knows, but looks the other way, either is plausible. She is incredibly close with all her siblings except for Sindri whom she regards as an ugly waste of space.
Traits: Educated, Head Turner, Suggestive, Spirited, Secret Lover Ancilliary, should have 6 charm

    Sindri (25)

Bio: The most unnatractive of Jormlek’s otherwise good looking children, Sindri seems to have his father’s talent for politics and the manipulation of men. He and Jormunten make a fine team as together they are what every statesman wishes he could be. Interestingly, Jormunten did take Sindri to quell a revolt with him, leading to facial injuries for Sindri, but there is no bad blood between the two. In fact, they rather respect each other. Sindri is perhaps the noblest of Jormlek’s children. Valla and Jorlann are both hedonists, Jormunten has inherited his father’s pragmatism and is in the gray area at best, but Sindri goes out of his way to alleviate the suffering of the smallfolk.
Traits: Intelligent, Scarred, Kind Ruler, Just, Budding Bureaucrat, Understands Trade, A Bit Rough, Avoids the Truth, Feels Respected. 2 Command Stars, 7 Loyalty, 5 piety, 5 Chivalry

I have one question: Since this is an RP, will we be doing a story writeup after each turn, or is the RP just for our interactions with each other?

On another note, if any of my characters seem too OP, please tell me, I've tried my best to make them mostly balanced and multifaceted. And if there are any other things I seem to have overlooked, I'd appreciate having that brought to my attention as well. And if anyone has a better picture of a black bearded guy for Jormunten I'd be eternally grateful. I spent at least 3 hours looking for a picture, and I still hate the one I'm using for him right now. Thanks!
