i was getting a crash after every 3-4 battles then i set the vegetation to low, and the grass to none. now it's working a lot more smoother, but i still get crashes every 4 to 5 battles. generally right after i finish a battle, and it's changing to the campaign map. i have a clean install of roma secrtum 2, didn't save it in program files, i saved it in C: , i have the short cut on my desktop. I'm using 2.a then updated it to 2.5 update. the forts are horrible at path finding, to the point of not playable at time. and now every time my game crashes, all my hot keys are being automatically switched back to default. i think that is more annoying than the actual crashes. I've tried to save my own settings, didn't work. or if it did I'll have to load a file, I've never had trouble with my hot keys being saved, except for now. any ideas? suggestions? thanks.. my unit size is huge btw.
