If you are a 'good' faction, you can give the settlement of Fangorn autonomy.
Now you will randomly get a unit of Ents, that you can use for 7 or 11 (can't remember) turns till they return home.
So in your case you will just have to be patient. There is nothing you can do to increase the chance of getting a unit of Ents.

In some turns, an event will pop up and will give you the opportunity to give them autonomy.

It's roughly 5 turns after you own it afaik, assuming that the rate of increase is the same as the shire autonomy.
Were there but a tree in this godforsaken place i would have hanged myself.

thank you all,sorry to bother. Just wondering does anyone know what causes the game to crash right before entering a battle, I get message that says "unspecific error and will know close". graphic settings are low.

Some people get an error when their daylight savings time is automatic.
On your desktop screen, go to the bottom right corner with the time.
If you use Windows 7:
Press change date and time settings.
Press change time zone.
Disable automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving Time.
If you use Windows XP:
It should say automatically change Daylight Saving Time somewhere. Disable that.

u can recruit regular ents without the fear they will leave ur side if u are silvan elves and build some structures

Take off the Daylight Savings to fix the bug. It's a very common one, there's hundreds of threads in the Bug-section of the thread about ot.
