Ok then.
Ok then.
"For after the their baptism the Croats made a covenant, confirmed with their own hands and by oaths sure and binding in the name of St. Peter the apostle, that never would they go upon foreign country and make war on it, but rather would live at peace with all who where wiling to do so; and they recived from the same pope of Rome a benediction on this effect, that if any other foreigners should come against the country of these same Croats and bring war upon it, then might God fight for the Croats and protect them, and Peter the disciple of Christ give them victories."
Constantine Porphyrogenitus >>De Administrando Imperio<<
Right, done.
As this was my first turn I have not attacked anybody yet, the new caliph first wants to have a little chat with his neighbours. Probably a mistake
Castille is up!
Year 1297 under dark skys.
The Kings act like historical, but dead, Emperors of Roman state, people are blinded by shiny things and thoes who should teach them in the ways of light and knowlege are struggleing to keep independence. You see, I didn't mention a single identity. That's why cuz it's lost, it's lost among ignorance and dark, for that reson we must act, it's our duty to bring light to everyone regardless of the conditions.
"Where the turmoil lives we will bring Order, where famine walks we will set Order, where darknes stands we will break it with the Order!"

A crusade has been called!
On the suggestion of a ruler whose identity is known only to a few people of this world, the Pope has appointed me to go to each catholic ruler in the known world that is currently in the graces of his Holiness the Pope and find out what each one thinks is the most worthy target.
The possible targets are:
The Unholy Roman Empire's capital, Frankfurt
Fatimid Jerusalem, Acre, Cairo, Alexandria and Medina
Moorish Toulouse and Silves
Kwarezmian Baghdad
After that I shall immediately tell the Pope and the crusade will officially be launched.
Everyone who wants and is able to vote (must not be excommunicated) send me a pm telling the target you choose.

How much time we have to post the vote?

Factions that have 0 papal favor, whether you're excommunicated or not, shouldn't bother vote:
their vote will count 0 (while the vote of a faction with papal favor 5, will count as 5, and a faction with papal favor 8 will have a vote that counts as 8).
Factions that have at least 1 papal favor might still be excommunicated.
To check if you're excommunicated or not (but usually you should know that, since you get excommunicated during your tun..) all you need to do is checking the details of one of your settlements:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
if you have the excommunication malus in the public order like in the image shown, it means you're excommunicated, if you don't it means you're not.
Never argue with an idiot; they'll drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.
Guys you need to vote immediately, as the list of possible targets can change from one turn to the other (depending on catholic factions behavior).
In any case less than 24hrs
Never argue with an idiot; they'll drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.
My feelings are hurt, don't vote for me fellas![]()

I like it too.
This voteing system realy puts heavy weight on diplomacy, common goals. dirty plans, I would even say that increases the need for having high rep with the pope, since every cross you have can save your life.
And what do you mean by: "when I where" ... I am still scared even now when I am on college.
